Museum staff can visit local primary and secondary schools upon request, for the purpose of introducing Dr Sun's life history and the relationship between Hong Kong and the 1911 Revolution.

The contents of the talks are as follows:

• Learning about Dr Sun Yat-sen
  Featuring artefacts, historical photographs and visuals, this programme will give a chronological account of Dr Sun's different milestones, covering his birth, student days, kidnapping in London, revolutionary uprising and movement against the monarchical scheme of Yuan Shikai.
   
• Dr Sun Yat-sen and Hong Kong
  Featuring artefacts, historical photographs and visuals, this programme explains how Dr Sun's experiences in Hong Kong nurtured his revolutionary ideas. Students will be able to probe into the relationship between Hong Kong and the success of the 1911 Revolution.

• Learning about Dr Sun Yat-sen
  Featuring artefacts, historical photographs and visuals, this programme presents the life history of Dr Sun Yat-sen by ways of Q&A and storytelling. The topics include Dr Sun's birth and study, his kidnapping in London, the Wuchang uprising and his proclamation as the Provisional President of the Republic of China.
   
• Dr Sun Yat-sen and Hong Kong
  Featuring artefacts, historical photographs and visuals, this programme illustrates the relationship between Hong Kong in Dr Sun Yat-sen's time and the revolutionary campaign by way of Q&A and storytelling. These cover Dr Sun's studies and revolutionary activities in Hong Kong, his general impression towards the territory, as well as the historic visit to the University of Hong Kong in his later years.

This Education Kit is designed for the permanent exhibitions of the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum. It allows teachers to select appropriate worksheets for designing class lessons and organising visits, thus enabling students from senior primary to junior secondary level to learn about history in a dynamic way and understand more about the life of Dr Sun Yat-sen.
