Opening Hours

To reduce the risk of the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to avoid people from gathering, Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum continues to be temporarily closed until further notice. During the period, programmes organized by the museum are also cancelled. The department will monitor the situation closely and review the arrangements in a timely manner.
Monday to Wednesday, Friday: 10am - 6pm
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 10am - 7pm
Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year's Eve: 10am - 5pm
Closed on Thursdays (except public holidays, the anniversaries of Dr Sun's birth on 12 November and death on 12 March), and the first two days of the Chinese New Year

Inclement Weather Arrangements

  • Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above: The Museum will be closed. It will remain closed if the signal is lowered less than 2 hours before the normal closing time.
  • Black Rainstorm Warning Signal: If the signal is issued during normal opening hours, the Museum will remain open. If the signal is issued before the opening hour, the Museum will be closed until the signal is cancelled. If the signal is cancelled less than 2 hours before the normal closing time, the Museum will remain closed.
