Response to the May Fourth Movement

(1)Large-piece Calligraphy Performance

  • Performer: Dr Lau Chak Kwong (Associate Professor, Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University)
  •  
  • With the May Fourth Movement as the theme, the performer will give an outdoor calligraphy performance in the courtyard. Two-dimensional calligraphy and interactive performance art will be fused together in a large piece of work.

(2)#Slogan Calligraphy Masterclass

  • Venue: Special Exhibition Gallery, UG/F, Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum
  • Instructor : Dr Lau Chak Kwong (Associate Professor, Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University)
  •  
  • The instructor will show participants how to learn basic knowledge of Chinese calligraphy and various strokes before creating their own May Fourth slogan calligraphy works.
