Hands-on Activities

 

All workshops will be conducted in Cantonese and are free for participation.

Registration starts at 2pm at the Activity Room, 2/F, Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum. Each participant will be given maximum one admission token. First come, first served.


 

The Making of Kom Tong Hall Ceramic Plate


Based on the refined and elegant porcelain plates found in Kom Tong Hall, the instructor will show participants how to create their own painted plate and bring the token of Kom Tong Hall's historical grandeur back to home.

For the new school year, the instructor will show participants how to make special, practical pencil cases, inspired by Dr Sun Yat-sen's motto, "Where there is a will, there is a way."

The Making of Zentangle Mid Autumn Lights

The instructor will show participants how to make out-of-the-ordinary Mid Autumn Festival ornaments using Zentangle techniques, based on the architectural patterns of Kom Tong Hall.
